At least, that’s what they feel like. Have you ever felt that? It’s not exactly the feeling of legs being asleep. More like the muscles have dystrophied into…well, jelly. I can still walk, but my legs feel weak. Remote, almost.

My calves were sore the day before, of course, from running, but isn’t running supposed to make you stronger, not weaker? Is this jelly leg state a precursor to muscular calves? (Though, on a tangent, I hope I don’t get muscular calves…they would look so strange on me. Not that I’m running enough to get them, it’s just a thought.)

(Upon rereading this post, I realize it makes little sense. I apologize. Maybe my brain too has turned into jelly.)
