The thing about pretty, whether in pictures or fiction or anything unreal, surreal, too good to be real, is just that. That it is left up to the mind, the imagination to decide what it will, what to do with it, how to interpret, to become “too good to be real.”

It’s dangerous when we take this hyper-heightened view, the “too good to be real” to be reality. Or rather, what we strive for in this world, or to be truth.
