The past two days I’ve stayed over at Jen’s, because they’re doing construction on my street. Jen’s place is really nice; it’s clean and minimalist without being cold, if you know what I mean. There’s a certain home-y-ness that her place exudes. Probably the result of Jen’s hospitality. (And all that baking.)

(Whereas the house I’m at is clean and minimalist and beautiful too, but it’s cold. Too clean. As if no one lives there.)

This morning I had some kimchi and Korean fried fish (made by Peter’s mom) for breakfast. It was delicious.

Last night I was stuck in Berkeley traffic for an hour. Apparently Jason Mraz was at Greek Theater doing a concert. I knew that, but I went up that way anyway. Biggest mistake of my life.

I hate driving.
